3rd Annual Trip to the Leavenworth Icefest

Mark your Calendars! This is the event we all look forward to each year as we spend the Martin Luther King Weekend in the Bavarian themed town of Leavenworth, WA.

Join other Young Conservatives as we enjoy each other's company with great evenings of conservative discussion, wine tasting, innertubing, sledding, shopping, dining, and taking part in the many local events offered during this great festival.

We will work to defend our two time smooshing title and the Ladies Tug of War Championship we pulled out last year while giving it another shot to capture the men's title.

Once again nearly all the events take place on Saturday and we will be meeting at the Starbucks in the center of downtown Leavenworth again at 9am. You are free to come just for the day or to come in Friday night and stay till Sunday or whatever works best for your schedule. There will be several carpools so please let us know by sending the organizer an email if you would like to carpool or if you would like to drive and we will make sure everyone who wants to come will have the opportunity.

This is an event you won't want to miss and it will be a great chance to really get to know everyone in the group! Spouses, friends, and family are all welcome.

Most of us are staying at the Quality Inn near downtown for Friday and/or Saturday Night, January 16th & 17th. You can book a room on your own by calling (509) 548-7992. There are single beds for $70-$100/night and double beds for $100-$150/night. They accept pets for an additional fee. If you want to be in a room with other Young Republicans to save money just let us know and we will set it up without you having to do anything. Space may still be available so if there are no rooms left please let us know through meetup or [masked] and we will make sure you are able to take part in this great event.
